1. Controller

SecureBits Cyber Security UG (haftungsbeschränkt)

Email: support@sentry-assets.de

2. In short

  • This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking services and loads no third-party content; fonts are served from our own server.
  • You run the SentryAssets software on your own infrastructure. Your inventory and your employees’ data never reach us; the installation sends no usage data and checks licence keys offline.

3. Hosting via Cloudflare

The website is delivered as a static site via Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). On each request, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data: IP address, time, requested address, referrer, browser and operating system (user agent), status code and amount of data.

Purpose: delivering the website and protecting it from attacks.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is secure and fast delivery.
Transfer to the USA: Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (adequacy decision of the European Commission, Art. 45 GDPR); the standard contractual clauses of Cloudflare’s data processing agreement apply as well.
Retention: we do not store access logs ourselves. Cloudflare deletes or anonymises the data after a short period according to its policies. More: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

4. Contact by email

If you write to us, we process your address and the content of your message to answer your request, for example about a licence.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for requests relating to a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Retention: until the request is settled; for contracts as long as commercial and tax retention periods require.

Links to GitHub, the documentation or SentryMail lead to other services. Their privacy notices apply only once you follow such a link.

6. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). An informal email is enough.

You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; ours is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.

7. Changes

We update this policy when the website or the law changes. The version published here applies.

The German version of this policy is legally binding.
